The BSN@Home option is designed to meet the needs of Wisconsin registered nurses who hold an associate degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program and a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
This option provides flexibility through online and other distance technology.
Students enroll at UW Oshkosh which provides all student-related services (i.e., advising, financial aid, registration).
Admission Requirements for UW Oshkosh
- Must have earned a GED or a high school diploma
- Must have a combined GPA of 2.0 or greater
Nursing courses in the shared curriculum are offered by six UW-System Universities:
- UW Oshkosh
- UW Milwaukee
- UW Madison
- UW Eau Claire
- UW Green Bay
- UW Steven’s Point
Core nursing courses are offered each semester and in summer to ensure that students have multiple options for course and program completion. The baccalaureate degree in nursing will be awarded by the home institution.
The undergraduate program at UW Oshkosh is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036. The program is approved by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
